LUMEIRA - PRIVACY POLICY Effective 10 July 2026 Lumeira is an independent app made by Ben Shen. It records the dream you describe on waking, transcribes it, and turns it into a short film you appear in. That means the app handles unusually personal material, and this policy explains plainly what is collected, where it goes, and how to get rid of it. WHAT LUMEIRA COLLECTS Your account. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address, we store that identifier and, if the provider gives us one, your name. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address Apple generates, never your real one. Your dreams. The audio you record, the transcription of that audio, any text you write, and the images and video generated from it. Photos you provide. A photo of yourself, used to build your dream avatar. Photos of other people you add to your cast, so they appear as themselves in your dreams. Notification tokens, if you enable reminders, and basic technical logs needed to operate the service. Lumeira does not collect your location, contacts, browsing activity, or advertising identifiers. There are no analytics SDKs, no trackers, and no advertising. ABOUT PHOTOS OF OTHER PEOPLE Adding someone to your cast means uploading a photograph of their face so it can be used to generate their likeness. Only add photos of people who have agreed to it. If someone wants their likeness removed, delete them from your cast, or write to us and we will remove them. HOW YOUR DREAMS ARE PROCESSED Turning a dream into a film requires sending your content to services that run the AI models. In each case the data is sent for the sole purpose of returning a result to you: - Supabase (US): receives everything - account, dreams, transcripts, photos, generated media. Used for the database, file storage, and authentication. - fal.ai: receives your audio, transcripts, dream text, your photo and cast photos. Runs the models - Whisper (transcription), Claude Sonnet (text), FLUX PuLID and Nano Banana (images), and Kling (video). - Anthropic (US): receives your reflection conversations and the dreams and people they draw on, plus your avatar and cast images. Powers the reflective companion (Claude) and reads a one-line visual description of avatars so they render consistently. - Expo: receives your notification token only, to deliver push notifications. - Apple / Google: sign-in only. They verify who you are; they never receive your dreams. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train any model of our own. Neither fal.ai nor Anthropic uses your dreams or reflections to train their models, per their API terms. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. WHO CAN SEE YOUR DREAMS Your dreams are private by default. No other user of Lumeira can see them. They are visible to you, and technically accessible to the developer through the database only where necessary to operate or fix the service. If you explicitly share a dream, only what you choose to share leaves the app. KEEPING AND DELETING YOUR DATA Your dreams are kept until you delete them. Deleting a dream removes its transcript and generated media. Deleting your account removes your dreams, your avatars, your cast, and your account record. To delete your account, open the You tab and choose "Delete my account". You may also email the address below, and it will be done within 30 days. CHILDREN Lumeira is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. YOUR RIGHTS You may request a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write to the address below. CHANGES If this policy changes materially, the app will tell you before the change takes effect. CONTACT Questions, or a request about your data: ben.g.shen@gmail.com
